Take the Unitary Fund's 2024 Quantum Open Source Software (QOSS) Survey
The following is a joint post with Kallie Ferguson from the Unitary Fund, sharing a call for the quantum community to take part in the 2024 Quantum Open Source Software (QOSS) Survey.
The Quantum Open Source Software (QOSS) Survey — organized each fall by the Unitary Fund — has become a staple of open-source quantum software development and a strong community voice, helping us understand how we can support each other and grow our field together. This year we are again delighted to invite you all to share your voice and tell us who you are and how you have been using open source quantum software.
2024 Quantum Open Source Software Survey
Take the 2024 Quantum Open Source Software Survey to contribute
to a bright future of quantum open source. ✨
And please don't wait too long, because the Survey will close on October 31!
The QOSS Survey is the first and largest survey for the quantum open source ecosystem, and its goal is to gather an inclusive dataset that's representative of current and future quantum coders, from demographics and research interests, to software tools and quantum open-source community resources. Its results have been a valuable resource for everyone working to build a better quantum computing community — including us at the PennyLane Team. 😉
So if you develop, use, have used, or plan to use any kind of software for quantum technology, this survey is for you. This is your (annual) chance to share feedback, state your needs, and take part in shaping the future of the quantum computing ecosystem!
Please take 10 minutes out of your day to complete the survey. Share it with your network to spread the word and help us develop open-source quantum software that works for you, while building a community we can all be proud of.
The aggregated and anonymized results of the 2024 QOSS Survey will be shared publicly by the end of the year via the channels of the Unitary Fund. To learn more about the QOSS Survey and the work of the Unitary Fund, visit the Unitary Fund website or see the Unitary Fund posts on the PennyLane Blog.
