After months of preparation, we are excited to finally welcome you to QHack 2024 — our world-renowned quantum hackathon that takes your education to the next level and helps you connect with others in the quantum community!

What awaits you at QHack 2024

• February 8th–9th: QHack In-Person
  • Talks, panels, social events, workshops and much more at the Xanadu HQ in Toronto
  • If you don't have a ticket and can't join in-person, tune in to some of the streamed sessions (marked in blue)
• February 12th–16th: Coding Challenges
  • Join the adventure and solve dozens of exciting coding challenges using PennyLane
  • Create or join a team in the Challenge portal, travel through the QHack 2024 challenge map and climb to the top of the leaderboard
  • Win Coding Challenge prizes and ramp up your quantum coding skills
  • If you score high enough and fill out the Power-Up Form, you might qualify for access to powerful hardware to run your hackathon code — keep an eye on the daily QHack newsletter for details!
  • If you're new to coding challenges, on February 12th at 10:00 a.m. ET and 2:00 p.m. ET we will stream two live introductory sessions, so drop by for the how-tos and the Q&As
  • The Coding Challenges open at 9:30 a.m. ET on February 12th and the leaderboard closes at 5:00 p.m. ET on February 16th, but you will still be able to test your solutions until the end of QHack — 5:00 p.m. ET on February 22nd
• February 15th–16th: Streaming Sessions
  • Add the Streaming Sessions to your calendar — we will be live on Twitch and YouTube with awesome talks by QHack sponsors
  • Learn about new products, career paths, and exciting opportunities in quantum
  • Chat with other participants, win exclusive QHack 2024 swag, and join our speakers on Discord
  • The talks will be available on the QHack Twitch channel and the PennyLane YouTube channel, so you can always come back for more inspiration
• February 16th–22nd: Open Hackathon
  • Pick your favorite topic and create a hackathon project that will amaze our judges
  • Any software or hardware is fair game, your task is to impress us!
  • If you have a great project prototype with some preliminary results and fill out the Power-Up Form, your team might be able to use multiple GPUs provided by NVIDIA and Denvr Dataworks and lots of AWS Credits for your hackathon project — keep an eye on the daily QHack newsletter for details!
  • The Open Hackathon topics will be announced at 10:00 a.m. ET on February 16th, and we will receive submissions via the Challenge portal until 5:00 p.m. ET on February 22nd
• Until February 20th: Meme Contest
  • Can you make us laugh? Share your best QHack memes and win exclusive swag 😎
  • The live meme judging will take place at 5:00 p.m. ET on February 22nd
