The cirq.pasqal device in the PennyLane-Cirq plugin provides access to Pasqal’s neutral-atom simulator backend.

Recommended for:

  • Integration with Cirq.
  • Support for unique features of Pasqal’s quantum hardware, like the ThreeDQubit and the notion of a control_radius.
  • All operating systems.

Installation

The cirq.pasqal device can be installed with:

pip install pennylane-cirq

Device Initialization

Initialize the device in PennyLane with:

import pennylane as qml dev = qml.device("cirq.pasqal", wires=2, control_radius=1.5)
