I’m a Postdoc student in Quantum Machine Learning (QML) at University of Basel, focusing on both classical and quantum machine learning. I am interested in both state‑of‑the‑art theoretical aspects of QML and numerical simulations of quantum computing systems and QML algorithms.

One of my latest research papers is "A General Approach to Dropout in Quantum Neural Networks" (Adv. Quantum Tech. 2300220) where me and co-authors propose a technique to induce regularization properties in overparametrized Quantum Neural Networks. Check out the demo of Quantum Dropout on Pennylane!
