Quantum Machine Learning researcher at Xanadu.

I am interested in understanding how we can get quantum machine learning to work and be useful for when we have large programable quantum computers.

On the one hand, I spend a lot of time designing quantum machine learning algorithms that are fast to train at scale. For example, with co-authors we recently showed that backpropagation like scaling is possible in a subclass of quantum learning models. On the other hand, I am also very interested in understanding what types of data are well suited to learning on quantum computers, and leverage ideas from quantum foundations to this end.
