Laia Coronas Sala is a researcher with a strong interdisciplinary background with in medicine, artificial intelligence, and data science. She has participated in numerous projects that apply innovative solutions at the intersection of healthcare and technology.

She currently works at Lighthouse Disruptive Innovation Group (LDIG), where she is involved in projects related to data science, AI, and quantum computing. Laia is also pursuing a Master’s in Translational Medicine at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biomedicine from the University of Barcelona.

Laia has contributed to international research projects in Spain, Brazil, and Boston, working on topics such as machine learning, clinical data modeling, quantum chemistry and biomedical research. Her work focuses on leveraging data-driven approaches to address complex biomedical challenges and to advance more effective, personalized, and accessible medical care.
