Marcus completed a Masters in Quantum Information Science through the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo in 2020. After stints as a quantum software engineer at Photonic Inc. and a hardware reseracher in the Quantum Science and Technology Lab at the University of British Columbia, he is now a Quantum Software Developer II at Xanadu. He also enjoys writing hard sci-fi in his spare time and is a published author!
