About
As a computational chemist, I've tackled tricky puzzles in understanding how chemicals react on surfaces, both big and small. From basic electronic structure theories to fancy dynamics simulations using Python and Fortran, I'm your guy for crunching numbers and running simulations. I've also dabbled in quantum stuff, playing around with IBM's quantum computers and exploring how they can help us understand photochemical reactions better using the omnipresent VQE. Outside the lab, I've led projects, shared my findings at conferences worldwide, published papers, and mentored students. With experiences spanning across India, the US, and the Netherlands, I bring a global perspective to my work. When I'm not sciencing, you can find me performing fatherly duties, diving into a good book, or reminiscing about my sports days (football and basketball). And yes, I'm a big fan of A.R. Rahman's music! 🌍🔬🚀
